Personal training is focused on coaching, mentoring and motivation.  It doesn’t matter if you already have training experience or if you just want to get started with your fitness journey.  Best of all, anyone can join and you don’t need any experience with CrossFit!

Teaming up with a fitness professional can really help increase your fitness level, improve the quality of your movements or target major weight loss.  PT is an excellent way to improving your strength, muscle tone, coordination and general awareness of your body through movement.  It can also be a great way to simply ‘try the gym environment’ for the first time.

PT is available to everyone in the local community and can be purchased one-on-one, for groups of two or for corporate groups.  No membership is required for PT.

Being active has always been a part of my life and indeed I have practiced many different physical disciplines.  I have now been a PT since 2011 and I truly thrive on the energy of helping people smash their goals. 

There is nothing better than helping people grow, as they become happier and fitter.  The transformations are amazing and I love seeing my clients become free to do whatever they want in life, without feeling scared, uncomfortable or self-conscious.

With my mix of experiences, I am able to coach Thai Boxing and functional fitness, as well as traditional Personal Training.  I especially like helping people achieve their first pull up, handstand and muscle-up, but specialise in helping regular people achieve all aspects of fitness, strength, explosiveness and coordination.

I am a huge believer that we are born to move.  Therefore, through the passion I have for movement, I would love to help you broaden your body awareness, reach your fitness goals and find enjoyment in movement.

Movement has been my life since I was a child.  Swimming, handball, football, horse riding, capoeira, boxing, dancing, acting and singing. I wanted to do it all, preferably at the same time!  After a shoulder injury, I had to stop being a competitive swimmer and my love for expressing myself through dancing, grew stronger.

Since then I’ve dedicated my life to dancing and the curiosity of learning new movements and skills.  However, in 2018 I started to feel hunger to compete again, that’s when I started to become interested in CrossFit.  I have been training towards competitions and recently been competing nationally and internationally.

But it was not only the performance side of dancing and CrossFit that I enjoy. Being able to teach others about movement and the body, as well as guiding them to learn new skills has brought a smile to my face.

Throughout my childhood and up to adulthood, I have ridden horses and competed in show jumping.  In addition to riding myself, I was a trainer for other riders and have always enjoyed developing and motivating others.

I was both a student and became a mother of two in my early 20s, and training became less of a priority.  I soon found that neither my body nor my head was happy with the lifestyle I was leading and I gradually understood that no matter how busy life was, exercise had to be on the schedule.

I have been training CrossFit since 2013 and for me, using my body, stepping outside of my comfort zone and the personal development I get at the gym, is incredibly important for me to feel positive and happy each day.  It has also helped me to be better prepared for everyday life and outdoor activities with my two boys. 

Being able to help develop other people’s physical health, mindset and everyday life is a privilege that I have enormous respect for and it gives me great pleasure.

Ready to get started?

Personal Training with Ask is a two-way process, that involves trust and commitment from both the trainer and the client. This is personal!

This is your PT roadmap

Step 1 – Review
Before you get started, we will discuss your health and fitness goals, and watch you move through some specific movements.  This will help both of us understand your body and what motivates you. 

Step 2 – Plan
Next, we will prepare a training program and a timeline that suits your schedule.  This will include at least 10 sessions so that we can help you establish a new ‘baseline’ fitness level and help you achieve some initial results.

Step 3 – Train
Once we have developed a training plan and agreed on some goals, we will coach you through regular PT sessions and give you some extra items to practice each week.

Step 4 – Achieve
All you have to do is trust your trainer and follow the process. With consistent training, focus and fun, you will start unlocking goals in no time.
